Experience

Primary effects

  • Causes significant stimulation, a nice buzz, warmth, and sweating.
  • Induces a strong rush of serotonin, leading to intense horniness and potential as a chemsex drug.

Peak character

  • Characterized by a firm, heady intensity within the overall buzz.
  • Users may feel hot and clammy, with strong urges and struggling impulse control.

Negatives / side effects

  • Insufflation is painful and can cause eye watering.
  • Highly compulsive redosing, easily leading to binges; weighing doses while impaired is dangerous.
  • User notes potential toxicity, specifically heart valve issues, and compares its intensity to amphetamines.
  • Feeling rough for the next day and part of the day after; potential for being 'very zoned out'.

Aftereffects / comedown

  • Feeling 'out of it' and tired the morning after, but not overly drained.
  • Lingering rough feeling which may benefit from cannabis.

Adulterant detection: Cathinone derivative. Mephedrone (4-MMC) is a common adulterant/substitute — reagent profiles are similar but Mandelin can help differentiate.

Use at least two reagents. Cannot definitively distinguish 3-MMC from 4-MMC (mephedrone) without GCMS.
