Experience

Primary effects

  • Causes a dissociative state with altered sensory input, described as slightly distant and distinct.
  • Induces a warm, flushed sensation with tingling numbness, and a contented, rounded disposition likened to opioid effects.
  • Can create a peculiar heady quality and potential for increased libido.

Peak character

  • Dissociation described as solid and not overly dramatic, allowing full control of faculties.
  • Mood is contented and pleasant, despite an air of fatigue.
  • A "heady" presence is noted, not a headache, which might develop.

Negatives / side effects

  • Has a reputation for causing higher rates of mania and psychosis, similar to PCP.
  • Reports suggest more physical side effects like muscle soreness and flu-like symptoms, potentially indicating higher toxicity at increased doses.
  • Risk of bladder damage is a concern, analogous to other dissociatives like ketamine. Dosage is critical, with even 5mg considered high for a first-time user.

Aftereffects / comedown

  • Mild afterglow with a dreamy headspace and general contentment.
  • Lingering balmy feeling and a slight headache that can persist until the next morning.
  • Can provide a sense of reset, similar to other dissociatives and psychedelics.

Adulterant detection: 3-hydroxy-PCP — opioid activity in addition to dissociative. Fentanyl strip recommended.

Has μ-opioid agonist activity — opioid overdose risk in addition to dissociative effects. Fentanyl strip adds safety layer.
