Primary effects
- Rapid stimulation, leading to an uplifting but not overwhelming change in headspace.
- Causes a hot, intense taste and can induce dizziness or nausea, especially with tobacco content.
Peak character
- The experience is stimulating but often less 'clean' than other betel preparations, potentially leading to queasiness.
Negatives / side effects
- Hot taste, potential for dizziness, nausea, and general unwellness, especially for first-timers or if swallowed (can cause passing out).
- The presence of tobacco adds an additional layer of potential harm and different an unclean stimulation.
