Experience
Primary effects
- Induces light sedation and relaxation, with a clear anxiolytic effect.
- Causes light-headedness and a vague dreamy feeling.
Peak character
- Creates a mild but present headiness, sometimes leading to meditative qualities.
- Physical tranquility and a relaxed, serene mood are characteristic.
Negatives / side effects
- Contains thujone, which is reported to be toxic to the brain, kidney, and liver, making it unsuitable for regular use.
Aftereffects / comedown
- Muted anxiety and a calmer disposition may persist for the rest of the evening.
- Disturbed sleep with vivid dreaming can occur.
- A general 'off-key' feeling may be present the following morning.
