Experience
Primary effects
- Wild lettuce provides a distinct sedative and anxiolytic experience, particularly when smoked or consumed as a tea.
- It induces a 'heady presence' and a background sedating psychoactivity that is noticeable but minor.
Peak character
- The experience is more anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) than sleep-inducing, though it does contribute to sedation.
- It subtly alters perception.
Aftereffects / comedown
- Can lead to a deep and prolonged sleep, potentially exceeding 10 hours, particularly with very large doses.
