Experience

Primary effects

  • Induces body warmth, a dreamy ataractic bliss, and mood lift.
  • Provides a positive empathogenic edge, similar to MDMA.
  • Causes some sweating and headiness.

Peak character

  • Results in a pleasant, positive contentment and a sense of well-being.
  • At moderate doses, the experience is light, functional, and allows concentration.
  • Does not appear to cause 'stim-dick' or suppress appetite.

Negatives / side effects

  • May be cardiotoxic with heavy or regular use.
  • Can lead to feeling down and irritable for several days subsequently.
  • Not a chemical to make a habit of; avoid pushing doses over 200mg.

Aftereffects / comedown

  • Slow descent towards baseline, with no significant hangover or ill effects after sleep.
  • At lower doses, it can turn a miserable day into a pleasant one without hindering functionality.

Simon'sNo reaction (primary amine)

Adulterant detection: Benzofuran analogue of MDMA. Marquis purple/black is characteristic. Simon's no-reaction distinguishes it from MDMA (secondary amine, Simon's positive). Fentanyl in pressed pills.

Simon's test is useful to distinguish 6-APB (primary amine, no Simon's reaction) from MDMA (secondary amine, Simon's blue).
